Dr. Mikhail (Michael) Drizin received his medical
degree from Riga Medical Institute / Medical Academy
of Latvia in Riga, Latvia. He completed his
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine
Residency at Schwab Rehabilitation Center in
Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Drizin is a member of the American Academy of
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the
Wisconsin Society of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation.
Dr. Drizin served as Chairman of the Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at Michael
Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL and the Medical
Director of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
Units at Sacred Heart Rehabilitation Hospital in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, St. Catherine’s Hospital in
Kenosha, Wisconsin and St. Mary’s Hospital in
Racine, Wisconsin (now Wheaton Franciscan System
Rehabilitation Medical Clinic, WFS).
He is on staff at several of the area hospitals
including Presence Our Lady of the Resurrection
Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, Presence Holy
Family Medical Center Long Term Acute Care Hospital
in Des Plaines, Illinois and Presence Saint Joseph
Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Drizin is fluent in English, Russian and
Latvian. His warm and humorous nature is
appreciated by patients and colleagues alike.
